Cecoforma Events & Communication wishes to promote meetings and contacts between businesses with the aim of creating a favorable environment for business development, and to do so in a convivial and festive framework adapted to Liège, Belgium. Cecoforma Events & Communication aims to develop its services for Belgian businesses in order to organise memorable events that promote networking.
Cecoforma’s British Business Open, which was held on June 28, is certainly one of the most important business golf competitions in Belgium, and also has a great prize table.
Reserved for businesses and their friends, this second edition was particularly popular. 120 players took the start despite the more than gloomy weather. We note also that this edition included a prestigious new partner, namely the Embassy of England. The presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of England, Jonathan Brenton, who presented the awards to the winners along with Willy Demeyer, the mayor of Liège, was highly appreciated by the attendees.
This prestigious sporting event also attracted our country’s many golf personalities. To name a few, Eric Drossart, Bruno Taloche, Jean-Michel Javaux, David Goffin, Christophe Rochus, Els Callens and Dominique Monami.
This year, technology joined sport to open up new perspectives: VPar, a new live scoring system, instantly followed the scores of all participants while a drone – a small and remote controlled flying machine equipped with an HD camera – flew over the grounds and delivered, despite unfavourable weather conditions, beautiful images of this beautiful golf course and its surroundings. Given the success of this event and its ever richer and more innovative programme, the next edition can only bring great new surprises.
