Management of the MEDIA 'umbrella stands' at the Marché du Film in Cannes

The MEDIA Programme helps the European Union film and audiovisual industries with financial support in the development, distribution and promotion of their work. It helps fund major European markets and provides 'umbrella stands' at four of the largest, including the Marché du Film. This enables European independents to benefit from reduced market participation rates, a platform from which to promote their activities, and ancillary infrastructure and support services so that they can make the most of their time at these markets.


Cecoforma Events & Communication and its partner (ConceptExpo) design and operate the stand, in a pavilion in the International Village. Structure, traffic flow, equipment and graphics give the MEDIA Programme maximum visibility and facilitate the work of participants. Cecoforma Events & Communication e-mails a call for participation to a large database, handles follow-up, including eligibility checks. Registration is via media-stands.eu, a comprehensive website created, updated and maintained by Cecoforma Events & Communication. Cecoforma Events & Communication coordinates listings and advertising in official catalogues, permissions to use film festival logos and photos of films in competition on the stand and in newsletters produced for the MEDIA Programme, and provides ad hoc logistical support for VIPs.
